Scheduling classes that meet demanding schedules has been a challenge, to say the least. So here's a partial list of what we offer. You let us know what you want to learn, when you want to learn it, and we'll schedule it at your convenience. Group classes (2 -4) cost $20 for 2 hours; private classes cost $15/hour.

BEGINNING FELTING: "Put this in the washer on HOT?" Yes, and a wonderful project will emerge. Yarn selection, color changes, creative touches, felting process, tips for successful felting

NEEDLE FELTING: The perfect creative and artistic touch to all your felted projects. Create one-of-a kind designs that sets you apart.

READING A PATTERN: More than alphabet soup! Pattern terminology made simple plus practice on most frequently mentioned stitches

CALCULATING GAUGE: No more frustration with ill-fitting garments! And learn how and what to adject to get the recommended gauge required for your project.

TOO MANY SCARVES? Let's go beyond scarves and step into the world of garments...a vest is the perfect place to start! Easy to knit, easy to fit, and fashionable, too! Basic knitting skills needed.

READY FOR SWEATERS: A great first step is a top-down sweater in the round with raglan sleeves. Come in, it's time! We'll coach you from beginning to end!

CABLES DE-MYSTIFIED: They do look complex, but you would be surprised how easy most cables really are. They can make even the simplest pattern for anything look amazing!

FINISHING TECHNIQUES: Yes, you do have to learn how to put the pieces together. I know, you'd rather pay someone to do it, but after you learn how, you'll want to do you own work because no one else will do it as well!

SOCK IT TO ME: Socks...the favorite project of many! One circular, two circulars, four double-points, top/down, botton/up...So many choices, so little time. But we'll help you decide based on your comfort and skill level.

CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS: You better get started...Christmas is just around the corner. Aughhhhhh!

LACE KNITTING: Again, the seemingly complex is simplified and amazing creation can be made. We'll start with, what else? a scarf (unless you'd rather do something else!)

MAGICAL MOEBIUS: Knitting on a very long circular needle (40-47"), we'll start in the middle and knit to the edge of an endless circle with a twist. An ideal accessory, a double neck wrap, and a hood to keep out winter's wind.

LOOPY SCARF: Delightful chunky cascading loops create this delightful designer scarf (see the sample at the shop). You'll get lots of compliments and inquiries about where you got it!

BROOMSTICK LACE: A simple but beautifully complex stitch that can be incorporated into scarves, shawls, wraps, blankets, anything! And it makes a very creative edge!

ENTRELAC: You've seen it... it looks like blocks of stockinette ziggang and zagging almost in a braid-like fashion.
It's a very artistic technique especially enhanced with self-striping yarn. And you'll learn to knit backwards to do it faster! (If you can't knit backwards, you can always, just turn your work!)

FAIR ISLE: For the more adventursome, knitting with multiple strands of various colors to create incredible patterns, carrying the yarn not being used across the back. Are you ready for the next step?
