People who sew clothes ...... can you help with pattern for dress.?
I take sewing class in school and i have to make a dress for my next project. Well i was looking at Delias.com a while ago and i saw this picture of a simple dress that i really liked and so i saved the picture to my computer so when i came to find a pattern i could look for one similar to this dress. Well the thing is i look at simplicity.com, mccalls and butterick.com and i can not find a pattern similar to this dress.
If you know of any more patteren companies and no a pattern that is simlar to this, please send me the link thanks...

I looked at the dress you choose it is adorable.
The patterns are terrible and the cost or should I say big buks no choice. they have 23 pages all the same. I attempted to select Vogue, but same ol same ol. I thought find a similar top and find a skirt . I am an old person, but to try to do that dress with two patterns; the patterns would cost more than the dress.
Way back when I was in high school our instructor told us to purchase two yards of material. We straightened the-uneven edges. The 42 inch wide side and using this width as length of the skirt. Your skirt part of your dress looked like a four inch pleet. Measure your bustline center your first pleet and continue till you are at center back and center that pleet . When you have the bust line plus one inch for ease plus seam allowance. Once you have this use machine tacking. the largest stiches the sewing machine will make. Put it around you where it should go. Ma Calls had a maybe mcc5619 for the top.
